The Devil Came on Horseback

A Crisis in Darfur

It is an unspeakable tragedy. We must not look the other way at the brutal genocide taking place in Darfur. This is a must-see film based on an eyewitness account. Don't miss this important movie.

thedevilcameonhorseback.com

"THE DEVIL CAME ON HORSEBACK exposes the tragedy taking place in Darfur as seen through the eyes of an American witness who has since returned to the US to take action to stop it.

Using the exclusive photographs and first hand testimony of former U.S. Marine Captain Brian Steidle, THE DEVIL CAME ON HORSEBACK takes the viewer on an emotionally charged journey into the heart of Darfur, Sudan, where an Arab run government is systematically executing a plan to rid the province of its black African citizens. As an official military observer, Steidle had access to parts of the country that no journalist could penetrate. He was unprepared for what he would witness and experience, including being fired upon, taken hostage, and being unable to intervene to save the lives of young children. Ultimately frustrated by the inaction of the international community, Steidle resigned and returned to the US to expose the images and stories of lives systematically destroyed."

Peaceful Warrior Takes a Second Bow

Are you paying attention? It came and went so quickly no one noticed. Lionsgate Films' Peaceful Warrior, an adaptation of Dan Millman's classic spiritual saga "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior", received a limited release last summer to a select few theaters around the country. Lionsgate must be learning awareness. In partnership with Universal Studios, they have wisely scheduled a second release to nationwide theaters March 30, 2007. Don't miss this riveting performance by Nick Nolte as wise sage Socrates who mentors Scott Mechlowicz, cast as a young Millman. The message will transform you in a profound way and leave you inspired and encouraged to walk the path. There are no ordinary moments.

Conversations with God: The Movie

It was a best-selling book that changed author Neale Donald Walsch's life. Conversations with God became a trilogy, and didn't stop there. Released as a movie in October 2006, it is now available on DVD. But don't expect to see his book translated literally to the screen with the teachings that so profoundly affected millions of people.

The movie is a biographical one that tells the story of Walsch's journey to having conversations with God. A series of misfortunes forced him into a homeless life. The movie touchingly follows him as he tries to survive with a broken neck and broken spirit. The horror of homelessness is going to tug at your heartstrings, and you will cheer Walsch on as he struggles to find his way back. This is a movie with an ending we already know: that his journey brought him to write a book of his conversations with God and propelled him into a very successful career as a speaker and personal development coach. In the closing scenes, we see the opening repeated as he looks out a window and sees an image of himself from yesterday. The ending is only the beginning as he acknowledges his old, former self in an embrace and act of self-love, symbolic of the acceptance of his old self that he had rejected, as the old and the new became One.

An important message in self-love and self-forgiveness.
